New laptop

Just bought a new laptop tonight. Think I got a pretty good deal on it. What does anyone else think, and anybody know of any issued with the XP-M procesors I shoudl know about or even this model laptop?

I just bought this one (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=6734641012&ssPageName=STRK:MEWN:IT) a couple weeks ago, and I'd say that you got a good deal. I don't however know about that processer, so I can't help you there.
I'd recomend getting a wireless router asap(if you dont already have one) to get full use out of it. Thats also great that he offers a 30 day refund as well. It makes it easier to make a blind buy.

Intended use will be for the wife to use for the internet and other programs, and something to take with us when we travel. Not big into grpahic intense stuff. Wanted a new laptop to replace the one she has now that the hinge broke on a couple weeks ago and a battery that hasn't held a charge since we got it. It was free though, so can't complain. She has a PII 500 processor and 6 gig hard drive with 256K sdram right ow. This will be a huge step up for her, and the old laptop will be used for the vehicles. Going to buy some OBDII software and the serial cable to be able to hook it up to my truck and check on how it's running. Was on a budget of $600 and really wasn't expecting anything this nice or this new.

Nice processor! I love AMD processors, they kick Intels ***!
The comp I'm on right now has a older XP 1700 M processor in it. I'm overclocking it and its running along at 2.5 Ghz at the moment. That processor cost me $47.00 and it just blows my brothers 2.4 Ghz Intel Pentium in the weeds. He's very pissed about that because he paid over $300 for his Intel and my AMD smokes him. hehehe. :D
