I am leaving tonight for Virginia. I will be staying w/ my girlfriend at her parent's new house in Chesapeake for about 2 weeks. I'm going there to visit and also look for a job so that I can move down here and attend college.
What sucks is I will be driving mostly all through the night. I'm thinking of instead of taking the toll roads, to head south into indianapolis and kentucky and then east through west virginia.
Any of you guys have your sc's out still? I am bringing my 90 SC aod, and it will have snow tires on it since I live in Michigan. I would like to find someone who does good body work so that in the summer when I'm there permanently I can get my SC's repainted.

Have a safe trip! I live in Va. Beach. (the city east of Chesapeake, incase you didn't know) Some of us Hampton Roads Sc'ers were talking about getting together for a lunch some time soon. Might be when your down here. You should jump on the Hampton Roads Supercoupe Forum and meet the rest of us there if they don't see this first.
Where are you going to college?
Well, it's cold now but we don't need snow tires just yet here. We're supposed to get some snow and ice tonight, but it'll melt by the afternoon tomorrow. Shouldn't be too bad.
Welcome to Hampton Roads!

If you go through Kentucky and then West Virginia, you will pass north of me by about 100 miles. I wish you were dipping a little more to the south, maybe we could meet and do some Supercoupe chat. :)

Frank, one of these days we will have to meet up and have a beer. I swear we must have been seperated at birth LOL. If you get the turbo car back soon will you be attending the carlisle show this year? I am going to try and attend even if I don't show my car this year.
I'll check in for details on that meet. Maybe we can all do lunch somewhere.

Cool Scott,
I will definately be trying to make an appearance in Carlisle with the turbo car. I also have Dave Neibert and WFC on my schedule in St. Louis. Be sure to let me know if you venture anywhere around Southwest Virginia.

hey there,
I live in Chesapeake, but I dont have an sc. I am definitely looking, so if you see any 94 or 95 sc's let me know. have a safe trip. I'll be goin to va beach to the junkyard for a new alternator (only $12 at U-Wrench-It). You should probably check that place out while in town. Every part is dirt cheap, but they don't keep inventory b/c they crush every car after 42 days in the yard.

Scott, you are more than welcome to stop by and have a beer with me man. I will not be able to meet you with my SC as Victoria has blown her HG's..But I do have Veronica(88TC). I live in Hampton, about 30 miles, if that, west of VA Beach.

Could you post the address of that place? My girlfriends Z24 is having problems and its stuck at Regent University. I've changed the coils, cam sensor, checked ignition module, checked fuel pump relay, its still not wanting to run. The car started running rough and missing. So we got it parked but now I'm trying to diagnose the problem. We got a code for cam sensor and missfires, so I replace the cam sensor and now it still won't run. I figure its getting air and fuel but not spark so I'm going through the ignition system and its becoming expensive and time consuming having to run back and forth from her parents house to the auto zone and to the college. Hopefully they don't tow the car.

Scott,
This is how I get to U-Wrench-It from my apartment next to Hampton University.
If you head east on I-64, get off on exit 284A toward VA beach, follow 264 east till you get to exit 21 First Colonial Rd. At the light right there on the exit, take a right, then take a left on Virginia Beach Boulevard. Follow VA beach boulevard till you see a gas station on the right hand side, take that right...I believe the road is called sykes or skyes...something like that. at the very end of that road you'll see the junkyard on your left hand side.
By the way, they have very good prices on the stuff you'd need.

Hey Scott, I live in Chesapeake. Been out of town for the last week, but I'm back for a while. I live real close to the Greenbrier Mall. I''ve never seen an SC with snow tires before! Seriously, send me a pm & maybe we can get together.

My girlfriends Z24.........
Is that the same car that hit a curb head on at 70 mph?
I hope you left your black SC at your Dads for awhile! Where's your 460 car?

The 460 car is in the garage at my mom's house and so is the black SC. I brought the 90 SC down here. Cam sensor took a **** on VA Beach. Finally got it running and back to her parent's house. Had to overnight the part from Advance cuz AZ didn't have it and couldn't get it for 5 days. I fixed it in their parking lot this morning. Had to take off all three belts but then it wasn't hard to change.
Now my inside door handle on the drivers door doesn't work. You pull it but nothing happens. Have to roll down the window to open the door. I think the linkage snapped. I'll have to take the door apart and see if I can figure it out, might need to get some parts from the junkyard because I doubt ford sells them anymore. Hopefully I can fix that myself.
