My buddie has a bonerville sc and keeps eating pullies. It has a lot of miles on the car and that is probably the cause. However I told him about the aluminum pullies and such that are available to us. I told him to check with the GTP guys and see what he could find. He did some searching and could not find anything. I did a search on this site and was unable to locate the site other then gmvsford. Can someone post a link?
Thanx
Chris

No. They have plastic idler pullies. Im sorry that was not clear. Do YOU guys make em for that car? He would be interested. The car has over 100k but he really likes it and it still runs strong. The milage is the reason for the breakages I am sure.
Thanks

Belt alignment is the main issue for pullies or belts to get eaten. If his plastic pullies are getting eaten, he might try taking one down to a local autoparts store that stocks Dayco parts. Just take the pulley and started going through boxes trying to find a steel replacement from Dayco.

No, we do not offer them for his vehicle. I'm with Mike, alignment is often the cause for issues. Has anything been changed or worked on that might cause this to occur? Such occurances rarely happen unprovoked.

Sorry about the length between replys. It appeared to me that the plastic had high milage on it and was getting a lot of grooves (even on the smooth ones) that were not suposed to be there. He just wants to get rid of the plastic so it wont cost him a new belt so often. I told him to replace the crap plastic ones he had until I checked to see if I could find him some metal ones. Thanks for the input though.
