ok while on a paintball road trip during the trip back my freeze plug went out so my t bird is well 120 miles away from where i live. So the question is can i do it my self with some tools and a jack or should i pay a local shop to do it. I wasnt sure if i could get in there to do it the space was pretty tight.

I have a stock tbird not sc just a v6.

u can do it urself... since it is a stock t bird... there is more space then ours... just get the right tools... and take some that u think u wont need... cuz maybe u will need them and u dont wanna drvie 120 miles back to get them... and take a couple of friends in case a deer comes out and wants to beat u and take ur tools...

Same thing happened to my buddys 89. Auto zone carries a rubber freeze plug thats a snap to install. You should only need a pry bar and wrench. Be sure to check your thermostat, sounds like it overheated. JJ
