Just looking for a good place to get some mandrel bends for my exhaust. I'm looking for 3.5" pipe with roughly a 60* bend. I can get other bends from summit or jegs. but i'm having trouble getting 3.5" or any bends in 60*. Also no one in my area does mandrel bending. I found one site online that has just about any bend you can imagine for stainless, steel, and aluminum, but the shipping prices are really steep. Just seeing if anyone else knows of other sources before I buy through this company.

Why can't you take a 90 or 180 and cut it down? That's what I do. Trying to find a premade 60 deg bend in 3.5 isn't asking much at all. ;)

i could do that dave, but I need to actually make an "S" shape out of these bends to start running through the gas tank. Turns out that two 60* bends with a center line radius of 8.75 will fit PERFECTLY around the contours of the tank. Anyways this company has great prices and i'll be sure to head back when I need some aluminum bends for my front mount set-up. The bends themselves are only 14 bucks each, but the shipping is close to $20. I dont mind paying, just didn;t know if there were any other sources out there.
I've been able to find plently of places for bends, but not many places carry 3.5" pipe, otherwise I would have just done as you said.

With the radius you are talking about, that is still pretty cheap and not having to cut in the bends to make it fit is an added bonus. I've not found anything cheaper. Too bad they don't do 2.75" pipe. :( Probably the key in this case would be buying all your pipe at the same time to cut down on shipping. ;)

Ya i wish i could get everything at the same time but i've been doing this exhaust peice by peice so i order exactly what i need and dont screw around with wrong parts, or be short parts. From here on, everything I need can be bought at jegs pr summit where shipping is reasonable. They do offer some cool stuff dont they? :D
Here's someone you might try....

FWIW, I got my IC tubing from www.atpturbo.com. They offer a good selection in 2.75 which can be hard to find. They also have bent silicone connectors in various sizes.
