I can understand some of your opinions, but the EVO is just so bad ***.

271hp 280ft-lbs of torque, 0-60 in around 5 seconds, brembro brakes, recaro seats, all sorts of stuff.

It handles sick too. I was poor before and forced to sell my T-bird, I have since got my act together.

Uhh thats an EVO guys.. Not a run-of-the-mill Lancer.. You know runs lo 13's out the factory, can make well over 550whp on a stock block and fastest street EVO is something in the hi 9's? Congrats on the new car, planning on modding it?

One of the guys I race with has an EVO that'll run mid 12's with just a couple of light mods and 21lbs of boost. It's not consistent like that but if he backs off on the boost a bit it will run consistent 12.9's. One word of warning, his clutch will only last 11,000 mi before it starts slipping. He went to a double disc clutch for $2200 installed and then broke the transmission on a 6,000 rpm launch the 1st day back at the track for another $2600.

I thought I would make a little update! Don't ask me why I post this type of stuff here, I guess I just miss the types of people here (I went to the track with actual SC people!).

Unfortunately now I go to the track alone, no one can say that this car club is not tight knit, that's for sure.
