The silencer is located in front of the wheel well cover in the passenger fender. It only takes about 15-20 min to remove.
Remove the three air filter nuts inside the box and remove the box bottom
Jack up the passenger side and remove the wheel.
Remove the plastic push plugs and screws from the front side of the inner wheel well cover and pull it back to reveal the silencer.
The silencer is held in place by three plastic clips under the air filter box.
Piece of cake.
Your SC will whine a little louder now.
