i have a 93 sc with 250000 miles on it, it is fast when just staterd up but after a while it loses power, could it be bad o2 sensors making it run lean?

thanks

I just replaced mine and now it runs hella smoother and gets up a little more.
But how much power loss are we talking about?

same here. i just replaced mine and man does it feel like a different car. a lot smoother, especially while idling. if you have bad sensors, your mixture is going to be off during part throttle operation and it might reduce the amount of power you make. however, during wot, i believe input from the 02 sensors is ignored. i think the computer has preset values to go by. dont know how much power you'd loose from bad ones though.

250000 Miles on Engine?

Is that right, 250K WOW! What kind of work have you had to do to the engine in all those miles?
