Hello everybody.
I have a big box of goodies that I plan on installing on my fairly stock SC in the near spring.
Custom CAI system with 3" aluminum tubing.
Fast Freddie 3/4 raised top.
Early model sc pulley - 4% overdrive.
Ported exhaust manifolds.
Any recommendadtions to exhaust?
Here are the three I have been milling over...
Eliminate the stock resonator with a Magnaflow
or
2-1/4 down tubes (cats) into a Dynomax or Flowmaster 2-1/2 to 2-1/4 cat back
or
2-1/4 down tubes (cats) into a 3" int pipe and 2-1/4 dual rear
Does the projected horsepower for my mild mods necessitate a 3" intermediate pipe or is a 2-1/2 sufficient?
Any thoughts are appreciated.
