Has anybody tried deleting both cats and replacing the resonator with a single / larger high flow cat?

If this is done, what needs to be done with the o2 sensors?

I doubt it. Most people just buy the aftermarket downtubes and put high flow cats, if any at all, at the end of the the downtubes. The 02 sensors stay in the stock position with the aftermarket downtubes.

If you're going to look at that, I'd drop the cat all together. In order for cats to do their job properly they have to get hot, and the further away they are from the motor, the less hot they get, and the less the catalyst process will work therefore emmisions would go up.

I'm sure that would lead to other problems as well.
