to see if the car was actually running on four cylinders, here is what i did:

started car,
popped hood
opened hood;
started taking plug wires out of the coil pack.
looked and heard for spark from wire to coil.
found that the 2 cylinder on the right, numbers 3/4
were not firing at all....
so yes, i was running on four cylinders...

now to fix it.. DIS MODULE AND COIL> on the way...

You made sure that the plugs were ok on those two cylinders before you orderd all that stuff first right?

Timing Light

Try it with a timing light. When you come across a plug wire that's not firing, ohm out the wire.

Considering the price of a coil pack at $65, and the DIS is usally the culprit, why spend the money for a new coil pack when they are practicaly indestructable?
