i need to take my steering wheel off because someone in the past didnt get it on straight any suggestions

Most parts stores sell a kit to pull it... just 2 bolts that go into the sides and a center piece you thread down til it pops off. If I recall mine was like 10$. Just 1 bolt to pull and then use that to pop it off and you're set. Dunno how they'd manage to get it on crooked though... when I did mine it was easy to keep straight.

If the steering wheel isn't straight when your wheels are pointed striaght forward, it is likely due to your alignment. The only way that the steering wheel could have been put on incorrectly would be 180 degrees off (turned upside down basically). It isn't splined, you can only install it two ways.
