MSD Ignition Boxes........How Do You Like/Dislike Them

I have never used an MSD box but I have heard a lot of good things about them. I sent MSD a tech inquiry about what box to use on my 90 XR7 and and my 94 SC. MSD told me to use the DIS-4+ box (P/N 62152) @ $394 and I would need a tach/fuel adapter (P/N 8912) @ $55. These two devices fit both ignition applications. Before I go spend that kind of money, I wanted to hear from people who have used them and any likes or dislikes. Any feedback would be appreciated!

msd makes some nice stuff. However, like dave said, its really unneeded on a SC. The only usefull feature is that they have a built in two step. Otherwise the stock system with an eec tuner would give the same results.

Thanks!!!!!!!!

That is the kind of info I was seeking. Thanks for the speedy reply. You saved me a lot of $$$$$$$$$.
