Here is what I have learned about this. The 89-92 rear rotors are quite a bit thicker than the 93 and later. The older calipers can be used up to a point on the later rotors. I believe Fast Ed N posted a warning about this. Because of the thinner rotors the pistons on the early calipers used on later rotors come out of their bores farther, and it's possible if the pads are allowed to wear too thin the pistons will actually come out of the bores. I'm facing the same situation but in reverse with going to Cobra rear rotors on my 90. The Cobra rotors are the thin style also. If you are a person that monitors your brake pads carefully and replaces when they are about half worn, I guess they would work. Personally I don't want to take the risk. John
