Hey guys.. I just picked up an SC and yesterday while leaving work, I attemped to burn out. as soon as the tires started to spin, the car shut off, and lost all power to the ignition.. So I proceeded to pop the hood and mess with the battery cables which restored the power.. then I'd turn the key to start the car and the power would shut off.. well, I fixed the connection, and got the car running.. But now, everytime I hit the breaks, the dash shuts off for a second and the little info center in the middle of the dash does also.. then it starts back up. and, as if that isn't enough, every once in awhile during my trip home, the car would really buck, almost as if it died but since I was in gear it pop started itself.. is this a battery problem or cable problem or more??? help please.. also note, this was all in the same day during the same drive home..

Bad ground

You may have a bad ground between the engine and the chassis or the battery and the chassis.
I believe that the battery ground attaches to the passenger side near the engine mount (???).
As a test you can connect the engine to the body, body to battery, ...etc with an additional ground cable(s) to see if that solves it.
If not there is a bad connection in a harness somewhere most likely between the engine and chassis.
There are two large connectors at the rear of the passenger side engine compartment that connect the engine to the chassis.
Check to see if when you tried the burn out that they did not come loose.
Good luck!
