I have a 94 SC with the JBL sound system, with no CD player. I read that the "high level" head unit is used to control the factory 10 disc changer. Are there any other aftermarket changers that will work with the stock head unit? I really dont want to put a new head unit in, as i rather enjoy the stock look. Hehe, and i dont suppose there would already be a wiring harness in there if i dont have a CD changer, would there? And i also read that the factory sub is an 8 incher. Is that correct? Thanks!

Crutchfield carries changers that work with factory head units. Look through these. They have some that work with Ford stuff.

I think that PIE makes an adatpor that will allow the connection
of certain aftermarket disc changers to the stock Head
If you have the jbl system the wiring is likely tied up under
the rear deck some where
