If an engine has not been started in a very long time will the super charger oil be fine? (since its enclosed?)

any feedback will be greatly appreciated
Thanks

I would assume so. I just bought a supercharger with only 200 km on it that hasn't been driven since '92. I haven't really had the car out yet, but it did not leak for the short time I did drive it.

You should be fine.

Second MikeM's opinion.

My '90 sat for a year and a half and the supercharger fluid wasnt noticably affected.

Just make sure there is fluid in there before starting it.

Try checking the fluid level on a level surface. If you need to top up, go to your local GM dealer and grap a bottle of the synthetic stuff they use for the GTPs, Regals and Bonnevilles. It may not be any better, but it sure is cheaper!

Good Luck,
