Is this OK to do ?

When I get my Double IC back from production I will be having my car dyno tuned/chipped. My car has always sucked gas down like mad, ever since I have owned it (app. 2 months of driving, otherwise it's been stored). When I get the car put back together, will the drive down to the Twin Cities (75 miles) hurt my car if the A/F Ratio is off as I suspect it may be for some reason. Just don't go WOT maybe? The car just had 36 lb. injectors put in, cause it previosuly had 30 for some reason. So I fear that my A/F/ Ratio may be funky cause of that plus the IC upgrade, etc: Do you think I should be O.K. here?
Also, after the injector upgrade, do you disconnect the battery to reset the computer? Take in mind, that it has (to my knowledge) the factory computer settings, etc: Thanks Again guys/gals ! Austin "Frydaddy"

Yes disconnect the battery, yes keep your foot out of it, yes you will be fine.

If it is sucking gas then it is probably rich, and will only get richer if you put bigger injectors on there so it is probably safe anyway.
