Has anyone used one of those torque converters that roadrunnerconverters sells on Ebay for the AODE transmissions?? They claim 2200 to 2600 stall & a price of $165. I would like to buy one but it seems too good to be true! Looking for any input. Thanks!

If it is a 12 inch converter it is a lie. If they actually get that much stall they did it the wrong way and have ruined the converter.

Tried it.

I decided to give their converter a try. It seems to work very nicely. I can brake race it up to about 2200 rpm before the tires brake loose. the original converter would start spinning the tires at about 1700. Car definetly jumps out of the hole better. Now lets see how long it lasts. If it gives me problems, I will post.
