stock manifolds

I was wonderin, is the "lip" at the end of the stock exhaust manifolds the most restrictive part, and if so has anybody taken a die grinder and gone ape **** on it?

Wynn tbird88 has some pictures i didn mine real seat of the pants hp , I used a motorcycle ridge reamer to get the lip off then it was carbide bit and grind grind grind and finish with a dingleberry hone for a motorcycle .

not much you can do I used a small ball hone in the ports of manifolds but that only cleaned up some casting flange and rough surfaces.
