For those that have replaced the rack and pinion on the bird or cat, how did you get the lines back in the rack. Ford's engineers really screwed that up and left no room to work on the car in that area. Well, I guess it fits the rest of the car too. Any secrets about getting them back in? The rest of the job has been cake. Getting the lines out wasn't too bad, but can't seem to get them started so they will go back in.
Well, it's back in. I have to place something under the high presurre line where it comes across the front to get it off the frame, so I could maneuver it and get it to start threading into the hole. The rear line wasn't easy either.
