I have a mildly modified 90sc with 70k on it. I've got a 2 1'4 into 3 into 2 1'2, exhaust, CIA, ported manifolds, and was wondering how much boost is safe for a relatively stock car like mine. I"ve got the stock HG's on it and from what i hear, thats the main problem with these cars. Just wonderin how strong these engines are and how much boost should i run?

Run about 14-15 psi and you will be okay.

With 70,000 miles on the stock design ford gaskets, the clock is ticking. I'd tear it down and put some felpro's or MLS gaskets on it one of these weekends if it was mine, but if you keep the boost down till you replace the original head gaskets you'll be fine. Some may disagree w/ me, some will agree w/ me. I got 182k out of my original head gaskets but I didn't beat on the car. It still has the stock pulley on the blower although I do have a 10% in the glovebox for it once I get a better exhaust system than I have currently on it.
