Super Charger, Question?

Starting today, my Super Charger wasn't working right. For the most part when it hit about 10lb of boost, you would hear this shattering and at the same time it felt like a cylinder or two stop working on me(big power loss and very ruff), but then it would be running fine as soon as I would let off the gas, I just couldn't drive it hard. It also started doing the same thing several times as soon as the Super Charger it 1lb of boost.(The shattering is deffinently coming from the Super Charger). If anyone could tell me what the problem is and what I can do about it, it would be very helpful.

You should get someone to help you in the driveway and track down the noise with someone on the throttle and someone listening under the hood.

You should really start by pulling the belt off the SC and not damaging that any further. The coupler in the front snout could have failed. If so it may not be too bad of a repair. But if the rotor pack is banging away, the SC may be toast.

Better track that down before it gets worse.
