Ok, here's a really stooooopid question...

Is there any unknown *** reason why a 1993 engine block will not work in a 1994?

Dont worry about telling me about EGR, its already defeated with EECTuner...

Just the block

I am assuming there is no issues from everything I know, but before I start pulling engines, I would like to cover all bases...

Thanks,

Mike

Well....

NOT A SHOT>>>>>

actually, the same engine block although the casting numbers are different. 89-93 is "E" and 94-95 is "F".

Other than that, the engine blocks are the same. Difference is in the rods and that's about it.

Somebody can correct me if I'm wrong....

I believe the 94-95 also had a different oil baffle in the pan. Reduces oil foaming?

Yup, I have a '94 block, crank and rods in my '90. The '94 has a windage tray, which I used.
