Question.....

When I log on and I am checking the posts, sometimes I will get a message saying "There are no new messages".......

It usually happens on a Monday when I am checking all of the posts from the weekend......

The number of posts on the bottom of my screen will say I have 75 posts left and when I click on the next page I get the "There are no new messages".......

Then I have to go to each forum to check things out........

What causes this to happen?

Not a clue! There are several different ways an individual user can do things, I'm not even sure I have ever even seen what you are talking about.

I will tell you that 9 times out of 10 things like that are related to cookies or security settings that VBulletin relies upon to keep track of all those things. You should make sure you are accepting cookies from the site and that the security setting is low for the site.
