Will Mustang headers fit an '89 SC?

Does anybody know if the stock short tube headers off a '97 3.8 Mustang would fit an '89 SC? If so, are the collector flanges the same? Thanks.
 
I can't remember which years, but some are better than others....

I'm using a set of 95 Mustang V6 factory headers. The pass side fits no problem, although on mine I had to bend my EGR tube to get the correct angle to hook up to the header. The pass side needs about 3 1/2" extension welded in to move the collector down. You will have to flatten the extension so the steering shaft will not hit. I had a friend weld in a piece of pipe, he's a manager at a Car-X muffler shop. You will need to bolt the header to a 2 x 4 to keep the flanges from warping during the welding and indention of the extension piece. I'll send you picture if I can find it.
