my tbird just starts to run about 135

i like the 5 speed with the high gears but it just starts to run about 135 mph and i have to lift cause i get scared anyone know what they will really do with around 250 to 275 hp

160 i would assume, eventrually you will melt something though.

What would you melt besides the tires if they were not the correct speed rating?

My 95 5spd in stock trip topped at 151mph. With the right gearing and powerband, 160-170 is forseeable.
