I have had the tranny out many times over the years and havent ever used the right tool to remove the hose from the the slave cylinder, so its kinda fubar'd now. So, I cut the hose right at the slave cylinder to remove the tranny. Still couldnt get the nipple out, so I had to break it off to get the slave cylinder off. So, now I need to replace what i screwed up. Is the plastic piece that I messed up on the hose or on the cylinder? I just cant recall. I dont want to bother with a BRAND NEW cylinder because this tranny will be replaced with a tremec tko in about 6 months. Any thoughts?
BTW whats the price on that hose fast ED?

The line from a Ranger or Exploder is just a little shorter but will fit. It's shorter by an inch or two but mainly because of the factory bends that are pre-made into the tubing.
If you dip the twists and turns in some hot/boiling water you can then straighten the line out some and it will be long enuff to use on our cars.
hope this helps,
