Here it is folks, since I have come to the conclusion 2005 Nats are a big flop, Then Im going to be having my own MN12 National Meet at National Trails in Columbus Ohio September 2-4 during the Ford Expo and NMRA Nationals.

PM me to let me know if your coming, no registration, no prepay, but if you PM me and say your going to make it, then by all means ya best be there. If your "thinking about it" "or dont know if im off work yet" dont post about it. Plain and simple Confirmation if your going to be there. Im going to try to have Tshirts made for us and will let you now of the cost for one, when you show up on Friday evening ill need your money and Ill hand over your Tshirt, it will be in the 10-14 Dollar range for the shirt, this is why I need a head count of how many people WILL be there. Final head count must be complete by August 1st, 2005

Im not taking any suggestions as to the dates and times and such, this is what is going on, I know of atleast 7 Birds 2 Cougars, and 1 Mark that WILL be there, join us if you would like to.

I dont care if Im the only Bird there, or there is 300 birds there, this is what the Ohio people are going to be doing, feel free to join us. I will post in a couple weeks what our plans for the weekend will consist of. Whenever the Dayton crew rolls to the Bus, we ALWAYS hit up speedz and some kind of sports bar. I will post in a couple weeks the MN12 schedule of events and where we will be.

So since I guess it is pretty well official there is no Nats............ Im stepping up and having one if noone else will.

I have never understood why you would want to have MN12 Nats so close to the SC shootout date. There's too many events around that time of year already.

All Ford Weekend is that same weekend at National Trails in Ohio, so why not just arrange with all the Ohio guys to meet there? It's all setup already, so less headaches, and probably more people. With the lack of MN-12 Nats, I guess a bunch of us from the South and East are just going to meet up at the Super Southern Heavyweight Shootout in Atlanta in November instead. Like I said, it's already setup, no headaches for us, and will probably turn into a NC vs. FL battle in the TBirds.

Yes, youve got it Rich, thats why we are having it at the Trails, the same weekend.......... Its all planned out, events are already happening, and racing is going on to watch or drive either or. You understand the whole point of having it at the Trails at the same time. I have no time to set it up all I want to do is attend it so........your thinking is right on.
