some times tach

Ok,
My tach in my 91 sc works now and then. When the tach stops working the check engine light comes on? Any ideas?
Also how do you reset the center information panel? I had the oil changed and light says change oil now?

Sorry cant help ya with the tach troubles, but i do know that to reset the center information center (VMM) you turn your key to the accessory spot without starting the car and then use a paperclip to push in the small hole just to the left on the VMM, once it blinks it should be reset. (just a note, this is information I received when i asked the same question, thanks go to who-ever answered it for me)

mines the same way
it works most of the time always when starting up but wont if i hit a bump it seems it shuts off then i hit a bump it comes back on or when i give it gas
idk it confuses me hahaha
