View Full Version : making a raditor 3 core?

i recently gota older sc raditor, from 92 i think, but anyway, i was told that it can be made to a 3 core for liek $40 bucks? How is this done, i took it to one shop and they looked at me like i was crazy, soooooo, i wanna go back with some knowledge.

If you search for other posts by Kar Doktor, you should be able to find more info on this mod. Seems like he one time posted extensive instructions on the mod.

I had my stock SC radiator re-cored to the thickest core possible. It cost $170 a couple years ago. It did not improve cooling enough to stop my Sc from running hot.

Save your money up for an aluminum radiator. Since installing one, my car seldom reaches the N.

like David said save your money and buy an aluminum radiator.
the old brass ones start to leak and there is nothing you can do and most shops will not fix them. I found out the hard way.
