We now have the differential cover brace used to strenghten the aluminum differential cover. The production pieces are black powdercoated. The new part will be added to the MN12 Performance Online store next week. The diff cover brace comes with all parts needed to install. This is an excellent upgrade for all 89-97 Thunderbirds/Cougars and 93-98 Mark VIII cars and works well with the IRS Pinion Brace. Also coming soon with be the solid rear cover isolator for use with the Pinion Brace and Differential Cover Brace together. More information is coming if you have any questions please e-mail richt@mn12performance.com

wow thats pretty cool Rich. One question for you though, does it help prevent wheel hop in any way or does it just stiffen the cover only?

I have now added the Rear Cover Brace to the Online Store. Also added is the opional Rear Isolator Support. The MN12 Performance rear differential cover brace adds support to the aluminum differential cover and fits 1989-97 Thunderbirds, Cougars, & Lincoln Mark VIII . Made of 1/4" steel and powdercoated it is designed to last. Comes with all hardware needed to install. The differential cover brace when used with the solid rear isolator brace (http://www.mn12performance.com/mn12parts/diff-cover-brace/ris100-pics.html) provides maximum support. When combined with the Pinion Brace (http://www.mn12performance.com/xcart/product.php?productid=3&cat=1&page=1) and polyurethane differential bushings (http://www.mn12performance.com/xcart/product.php?productid=6&cat=1&page=1) differential movement is eliminated. This NEW part will be added to the Wheel Hop Eliminator Kit. WHEK100 (http://www.mn12performance.com/xcart/product.php?productid=26&cat=1&page=2)
