I was doing my heads and decided to go with the 4.2l gaskets and ARP studs who has done this and what Torque specs and sequance works. I have read alot of post and only get confused and should you remove the rivits? If anyone can help me I would appricate it I want to put the car together by Tuesday.

have up put the heads on yet?
If not get your self some copper spray and to this on the side that goes on the block. Yes you do need to drill out the lower rivets only the top set can stay.I can take a pic tomorrow to show this.
With ARP head studs and there lube go 95to 100FT TQ this this is what was done last time I was working on a car with the 4.2 gaskets not one problem on the car even hitting 19LB boost. The sequance is the same as stock.
hope that helps

What Jason said....except I only torqued mine to 95, then let them sit 30 minutes after final sequence and torque them one more time at 95 lbs.

Get the heads resurfaced to the smoothest finish possible.
