Well we did a leak down and compression test on the car today. Every cyclinder was differant. with a high of 157 lbs. to a low on 2 cyclinders of 115 lbs. on one cyclinder it was leaking so bad you could hear it in the intake. leak down % numbers from 72 to 37. So it looks like its time to pull the heads off and have a look see. I may even get to redo the short block again!!Woopee. Well lets see if I can make more power before I mess it up again!! :rolleyes:
 
Definately have some leakage going on there. That would explain your loss of power hopefully. I have seen some SC's run good and put down nice dyno numbers w/ leaking gaskets and also run at the track. I think my black SC may be experiencing some slight leakage as well so maybe after I paint my silver SC I will jump on the head gaskets this summer if time allows.
 
It looks like maybe the heads and the short block. Rebember it blows the dip stick out to! :eek:
