poor down-shifts

My 91 SC loves to shift up, but does'nt want to shift down until I really put my foot into it. I recently rebuilt the engine, and have had this problem ever since. Any suggestions.

Tighten the TV cable by 2 or 3 notches and see what you think.

switch to a 5-speed. you'll never have down shift problems again.

Lentech Street Terminator VB with electric OD delete...will cure all your transmission shifting problems.
