No, the only reason for going with larger injectors is to handle the HP level you are at. Injectors don't give a HP increase they allow you to run at a higher HP level.
A chip is a tuning aid and can allow you to pick up a few extra HP on a stock application. It's the same as jetting and timing changes on older cars.
