I'm looking for a 1990-only SC as follows:

Must-have's:
Red paint, black interior (leather or cloth)

Preferences:
Automatic transmission

Condition:
Prefer less than 60K miles - nothing over 85K, one-owner (consider two-owner), perfect original paint and interior. NO MODIFICATIONS WHATSOEVER. I want as much of the original paperwork and maintenance records as possible.

no offense but you are looking for a 15 yr old car thats nearly perfect.......theyre out there but.........you may want to broaden your criteria

Actually, I've bought two already this year that were just that nice by searching and being patient. I had to flip over a lot of rocks to find them, but the nice cars ARE out there.

I'm very specific in what I want becuase I intend to keep the car for a long, long, long time. I'm in no hurry to get what I want; I don't need it this week. I'm also pursuing a number of other search avenues, but figure this might be one of the best places to put out feelers. I found my other two thru SCCoA.

I actually found an SC like I want (mileage was a bit high at 64K, but acceptable) earlier this year. Just as I was ready to close the deal, the guy got cold feet and backed out. I almost had a plane ticket bought. Then I see where he sold it a couple of weeks ago for $500 less than I'd have been willing to pay.

So, I guess I'll stick with my criteria, and wait for the right one to come along. It also helps that I don't mind paying fair-to-high market value for the right car.

Yea ,and i'm waiting for Pamela Anderson to shag me... if i wait long enuff ( when she's 80 ) i've got a good chance. :p
