stalling when wheel is turned

I started it up, I had just added some p/s fluid -- and I was in park and began to turn the wheels to get the fluid moving into the pump, as I did my idle began to get low 500'ish and then go back up to 700'ish and I kept turning it and eventually it stalled out -- is this because of my vaccuum leak? I still need another nut to seal the ic tubes... and some more RTV

Well having zero vac leaks is always a good thing, but if when you fix the vac leak and it still stalls out when the wheel is turned then I would say you have a failing ps pump. Good luck!

engine mounts? i remember mine stalled on me before i had mine changed, in the same situation

mine doesn't stall out, but it sure does draw off the engine, drops the rpm's way down. i usually give it a little gas when i'm turning the wheel at a dead stop
