All stock SC needs mods

Just by viewing a whole bunch of super coupes I realize there is alot you can do to these things. I have a 1990 SC all stock with a 4000 miles on the rebuilt engine I did last summer. Nothin fancy, runs and rides great! I need some tips as to where to start on my modification adventure, but nothing too major, or expensive, yet. Also, I am having problems with the ignitions system. It tends to prefire on number one cylinder at different times when I try and start the engine. Also, when cruising on the open road, sudden accelerations without even shifting tends to give the engine a "kick" so it has to be something in the timing or ignition. I recently replace the crank damper, PIP sensor, and Cam sensor, so these should be good, but I have a feeling it has to do with the connection to the DIS module. NEED HELP!
