the title says it all. it was under the pass. side fender.

That would be a charcoal canister.. It absorbs vapors from the gas tank until they can be burned by the engine I think..
 
Thats not the charcoal canister but then I do not know what it is.
I'll take a look at mine when I get home and see. My car is all apart so it will be easy to see. I do not remember anything like that in my 90, but I bet its there. LOL!!!!! :eek:

You're right, but I'm not so sure its for the cruise control since the cruise is in the drivers side fender. Ohhhhhh wait a minute..........That is possable since it is a Ford and especialy an SC. They are notorious for having oddball things. :D

Hmmm...wrong!! It's the vacuum canister for the heater controls, the vacuum canister for the cruise control is on the driver's side.
 
It's the vacuum reservoir for the cruise control and the heater/AC controls. The similar looking thing on the driver's side is the cruise control servo.
