Does anyone have a broken down diagram on a 5 speed for our cars? I need to rebuild mine as 3rd gear is toast NOW http://www.sccoa.com/forums/images/smilies/mad.gif
I also heard that you can take the brass rings from an F150 and use them instead, is this true?

I do... I can explain a few key things changed By a good friend.I have some Pictures. I want to get permission to release them. Go with the Brass Aftermarket Block rings or Sinchros then you can make some changes or buy the F150's Synchos, they have one tooth removed for better shifting.Rich Thomson, Also has an awesome How to coming out soon. I have this type of set up. It's best way for me. I think if your going to race with a 5 speed the F-150 Block rings (Synchos) will keep you fom eating 3rd. Much better engagement!
