Help With Engine Over Heating

Need some advice  My engine was overheating in my '90 SC and I found out the water pump was out. Replaced that. Problem is, it still over heats within about a mile (did not do that right after I replaced the WP). The radiator fan is working. I cannot think of anything else that might be wrong other than not getting good air flow through the radiator or just over the engiine. Does anyone have any ideas what it might be?

Couple of suggestions:
Have your rad. cleaned out and pressure checked
Flush your cooling system and put a 25/75 coolant to water mix in it
Add some Water Wetter or Purple Ice
Make sure your cooling system has no air trapped in it
Check T-stat... you can install a 180deg but you will need to set your ECC to turn your fan on at 180 deg as well or wire your fan to a switch that you can control.
Bigger Rad :D

Hope this helps
