Cool isn't it? I've had so many people stop me in traffic over the years to ask about my car it's not funny. One person almost caused an accident on one occasion just to get my attention. It almost got me a date with a ~16 year old on another *yikes!* (I'll have to remember to tell you all that story sometime).

That's a good part of the appeal of the car for me, and what keeps me hanging onto it. :cool:

No doubt....Thats what I love most about the car too... It turns heads..not that I'll be asking any 16 year olds on dates anytime soon :D

With the cosmetic condition of my car and being even more obscure than an SC I haven't had any "thumbs up". I've had a couple guys ask about it when I was at the track. The one guy couldn't believe it came from the factory with a 5spd.

The day after I beat a 95' GT conv. at a test/tune/grudge night a guy recognized my car and told me he won $50(4 different people 10, 10, 5 and 5) off me beating the Mustang. That was pretty cool.

I don't have anything to say about 16 year olds except that my car is one. :D

Fortunatley for my future marriage security, it was the other party that was doing the asking, not me. Heh.

I don't like divorce or jail, not necessarily in that order of course. :D

Diane and I were driving home and suddenly a Sheriff got behind us...Of course I slowed down, tried to keep the car going at the right speed. I had just had the rear gears changed from a 2:73 to a 3:27 so my speedo was about 17 MPH off to the right.. The squad car stayed on my bumper, blew his horn, I was getting nervous and confused ,As what he wanted, so I sped up he stayed behind us :confused: I got moving faily quick I was doing aproximetly 70? in a 65 zone! He stayed behind us...We were driving the black SC. We jumped on 464B 5 miles from home and he blew by us waving his hands and smliling, as to gesture come on? I said to Diane I think he want's to have fun...? I decided to go with my gut feeling...I geared down and got next to him and gestured what's up? He yelled lets go! So did! Red linned 3 & 4 gear speedo was burried, he was a little bit behind us! 4 to 5 car lenths maybe more? No joke! He turned on his Lights and sounded his siren as I pulled up to our house. He pulled in behind us. Turned off his lights, and I started to take my drivers licence out! Diane was Piss_d and saying how could I had done what I did! Out run a Cop!
He walked to the car, I opened the door because my window was stuck. He Introduced himself and said how does it feel to our run a cop! I :) :) he replied I'm one of neigbors to the rear 4 houses back ! I knew there was an officer lived there. We spoke for 45 minutes about Super Coupes...Two weeks Later Some one knocked at the door, It was him in his newly bought 1993 SC Now he buys parts from me. These cars do have great appeal, speed, They maintain a design that does not grow old just like me :rolleyes: . Even with the law enforcement sometimes...They Also like cars that can out run their squad cars some of them not many... But not their radios, YET! Diane drives her SC and get wooed regurlarly. I better watch out. Just had to share this one. ;)
Some one tried to steal one the other night, The sherrifs that patrols this area was him they caught them red handed! Wheew! This happened about 1:30 I AM Putting up a security Gate! See you all soon!
P.S. The guy behind the Incident Visits SCCoA regularly. His from Fla. I cant Disclose him yet! Dont disclose your address to anyone unless you know them well. Only in a PM if needed. Beware these cars are getting more & more popular every day. (Rick Hope Carlas Mom Is doing Good!!!) Let us know
