Got it back from Magnum Powers today. It's back in & the car starts, but I can't drive it yet. MP put my blower pulley on backwards, so the offset is wrong & the belt tries to climb off the back of the pulley. I tried loosening it, but I'll need an impact wrench. Hope to borrow Z's tomorrow. Also I bought a new 3 1/2" intake tube from MP, & they didn't include the fitting for the vacuum line. So I've got to figure something out for that. Not sure if they're available over the counter or not. Anyone know? It's a brass type of fitting that threads ionto the intake tube.
Thanx,
MC

If Z isn't available, i've got one if you need it. I live right off of General Booth Blvd

My SC rolling chassis is finally gone on saturday , my dad's glad to have it out of the driveway. After stripping this one, i don't know if i'd get another for fear of having to do ANY work on it. These cars are designed to be difficult!
I have a few random parts sitting around as well, i'd like some SC guys to come by and see if they need anything... alternator, etc. Just want it out of my garage.

Good to hear. My car is broke and I'm supposed to leave Sunday morning. I might leave tomorrow though. At least mine drives. I want to go for a ride in your SC before I leave. I might stop by tomorrow since I tonight is my last night at work here. Will you be around tomorrow Mike?

I work at Sears from 8-4, then I'm planning on going to Jenro's if I get it running. I'll be at Sears tonight from 6-9 too.

I work 2 till 9:30 tonight. I might just have to come down to Jenro's tomorrow if its not raining. Read in the tech forum about my problems. I have a post called "Broken rocker arm or valvespring?" I'm a little upset about that.
Will you have your SC at Sears today? I might cruise by and drool over it on my lunch break. I am getting a new digital camera today too so I can get some pics.

It's almost 12:30 now & I haven't been able to get hold of Z yet. If I can get the blower pulley off & turned around, then I will definitely have it at Sears tonight. weather permitting.
