Hey guys, got an easy one for ya! I wanted to change out my trans fluid in my 95 5-speed, and am looking for some tips and suggestions on fluid and what it involves. I could look up some information, but I am going for some advice from anyone who has some experience in doin this.

Thanks a bunch!!

Most on here seem to use either Red Line D4, Royal Purple (I don't know off hand which one is correct) or GM Synromesh.

As far as actually changing the fluid, its really easy. If you have tall enough ramps you maybe able to access it without having to jack up the rear of the car. Remember SAFETY, use a stop if you only use ramps on the front, and jack stands if haveing to raise the rear. Towards the bottom rear of the tranny is a large bolt with "Drain" beside it. Take it out and drain the old fluid. I think its easier to fill through the shifter area, but there is a fill bolt towards the middle of the tranny. It takes about 3.5 qts of fluid. Should that you about little bit longer then an oil change.
