Where is the silencer on my '94 SC? I understand I will gain a little FREE HP if I remove it. If I do remove it, what will actually be louder, the engine, the blower whine, what? And, how much HP will I actually gain? To remove it, what must I actually do?

Thanks,
Alan

the air silencer is located behind the passenger side front bumper cover. It is were u connect the air filter housing too... You remove your intake... and unbolt the three bolts that hold it up to the engine bay and then u somehow remove it from underneath the car. Do a search. Should bring up lots of results.

For anyone that has actually romoved the silencer, do you have any answers for me from my original post, up top? Other than, where it is and how to do it, of coarse, LOL, I got all that. I was wondering about the noise and the HP increase.
