Rear Main Seal

How hard is it to replace a rear main seal in a 90 sc auto and how is it done? Thanks for the help!!!

Its a pretty big job. You have to either pull the engine or drop the trans to get to it. Based on the work involved, I'd probably drop the trans. I replaced mine when I did my tranny swap earlier this year. Once its out of the way, you mark the position of the flywheel, take it off and then pry the old seal out by putting a couple of screws in it and then prying it out. It takes a weekend to do the job if you're familiar with the work and have some help.
