Hard hot start/extended cranking

Most of us have experienced this. Hot Summer highway run, pull in to get gas, and then it takes 20 seconds of cranking to restart with lots of black smoke! Many theories have been bantered about and I'm not here to slam them. Just to state that after I pulled my stock injectors and put in my new Lightning 42lb'ers, the problem dissappeared. 100%! Some have theorized that old injectors will leak a little when hot and these extra drops of fuel create the too rich / hard start condition. My 2 cents on what worked for me. Speed on . . .
