I think it's time to show the rest of the country what Florida Scers are all about...

Check out this link to our other post for all the Info. We will need volunteers help us make this a complete sucess. we need to start now! not at the last minute lets get it on!!!

Hey Victor just kinda wondering what the status was on this. have you picked a track i know Bradenton does a corvette event every couple months where its a open day but mostly vettes and they get priorty. But do you want a track that far south maybe Gainsville will get more out of state SC's. I think we all agree Orlando is out and those are the only 3 i can think of cause Moroso is to far south. Like i said before if you need any help let me know the sooner we get this going the better we will be i would like to see this happen and put the club on the map and not end up like this years shootout. i wont be doing any racing so if you need me directing traffic or doing a car show im up for it.

Now that's Leadership!

Thank you Brad, I'm considering Gainsville as probably our first choice. If we have enough Floridian jump on board this means alot of Floridians state widethid would be a good start If SVToA come and joins us as we did withem on the OSW last minute cancellation. We went to Carlisle and talked to many that said it would be great to have a shoot out and a obtacle course event. I had some say it is summer Now, that if we had the event in time to get out and head down that many of them would come down for the event and also as a small vacation just to get out of the freezing weather and enjoy Florida for it's weather and that a shoot out would be a kick and make it even more Interesting to come down meet us guys and beat our pants off. I know Joe would get the Jersey club down here and Don and Hebert and Sean Maybe even Bill Mc Neil, Dave Neibert, Mc Dermitt is selling his...Rich Thomson could be and maybe but he doesent race but who knows? with his new suspension products it would really show off his products which I personally endorse plus he has a brother in Florida.Dave Dalke would make it I have all my MFG. ready to send Banners 2 foot by 6 to 8 foot long, prizes and I believe Magnum powers will also want to have a piece of this also for many new reasons. Splitfire is probable and Perma is another, Sema I need to talk to some people there when I go. So the word is out. Alex La chance and the New england gang some could make it, Wjhat we need is unity here and everyone telling people and taking about it as much as we can. We can have this be a yearly event and Nick, Flip, Victor,Jake is ready to d go...If we can get the other to join in some soert of event even if it'[s just helping with the work as host to our Northerly and western participants exited about this Florida chapters and national event it will fly. I need to speak with Flip and the SVToA people to join us it can include Mustangs, Lightmings, Xr7's I do not care if Corvettes come in were going to blow their doors in in a few events.I need you to rally the troops and keep me Informed. Every one has a purpose or an agenda so if we can all get as exited about this event as Dan BBQ that would be great. I'm looking forwar to the BBQ and all our othrer events. The Florida event coucil we need to put into place.I think we have 4 or five volunteers. Some are racing and still have a full time job.

Hello Everyone,

We feel that Feb or early March would be a good time. We should be well recovered from the Hollidays. Also we will still have nice cool weather which we know favors our cars. I'm mainly looking at Gainsville a good population also a good place for the northern participants and spectators. We know there is plenty to do in Gainsville where the Univerisity of Florida is. Plenty of lodging. Ocala is only 34 miles South Orlando almost two hours. We can put up people and park as many cars as we want, if needed. The track is good. and everyone who wants to try to hit the hot spots at night can. There are other things in the area for the whole family tubing, fishing, Blue springs, Slver Springs in Ocala plenty more, etc. Glad to see some interest building up. We need to put a commity in place. We hope to have the car ready so is everyone else, Jake, Nick, Flip, Bryan,Rick?, Me, possibly a few more. I know about 10 from up north are planning to come down as of now, and I have had a few others ask me when where and how much?
This will be determined as soon as We know where we stand as far as participation increases. Dave (XR7) plans to be here, and tune, plus run with us also we hope. Some tunning could start early, a Miami group may join us tunning and some racing. Dave will tune their SC's as well! Some of the Manufacturers will come on board! They will have Prizes and banners and more! Good advertizing for them, I imagine! We will have parts on stand by at our cost if needed. Cluches, some trannies, as much as We have will be available if needed. Also BBQ's, Beverages,Horse shoes, anything else we come up with or you do.!
late night activities for grown up's and possibly some type of kids theme park activities for the young ones with chaparones. Jake I need to get moving on a few things.I'm also running the Snow, or Alkie. Dave what's the status of the goodies? Need to have engines ready with plenty of time. Testing and tuning... We should call a Florida meeting soon and start sending flyers making decisions aggreeable to all. Then a news letter pretty soon, Entry forms ,Set up the diffrent class races... Need SCCoA to help us promote this as a sanctioned recognized event on the Boards so everyone is able to see what our chapter is planning and will back us. I plan to speak with SVToA and TCCoA I need to know how to contact some people that are hard to reach. Hi Brad, If you would call a meeting say right before the BBQ at Dans, that would be good. A car show It's a thought for a lot of guys have some awsome looking cars here as well as some coming down, Glenn, You, Us, Dan, Nick, Rick and so many more have real nice cars. Flip too and Greg. Take care of the $$$ part of things or if not you Diane pretty good also. We need to get trophies, and ribbons, Florida Sun in a can... ;) :p :rolleyes: We may auction an SC Nation wide! Winner must pick up! Make some calls. Lets talk. RJ should also be done with his home so he is always a player and a good leader as well. PS turtles finding higher ground to lay eggs this means storms. They will look for higher ground to pt rotect them from rising Waters. I hope RJ does not read this...If you know what I mean...
