automatic transmissions

i was wondering wat the difference was between the tranys in the 4.6 tbird and a sc? is the bolt patern the same, are the lenghts the same? basicly what i was wondering is can you swap tranys. thanks

I'm not sure about the differences in size but I know that the stock 4.6 tranny will not hold up to the sc's torque.

ok that is what i wanted to know. i also have a wrecked 95 sc i was wondering if that trany will fit in the 4.6 car since my sc is running really bad right now, i think it is a head gaskets but im not shure.
